The Vocal Arts of Fairfax serves and enriches the community through accessible and inclusive choral music experiences and education.
The mission of VAF is to provide (1) community-focused, accessible and inclusive choral music performance, support and educational experiences for its members and the public, and (2) to serve under-represented populations through music programs and charitable community care outreach initiatives. VAF also seeks to build unity among its singers and to provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment, regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, religion, race, size, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background or any other status prohibited by law.
Vocal Arts of Fairfax is organized as a Virginia nonprofit corporation and is exempt from tax under Internal Revenue Code section 501©(3). As a charitable organization, we are registered with the Virginia Department of Agriculture. A financial statement is available upon written request from that Department’s Office of Charitable and Regulatory Programs. Donations to the Vocal Arts of Fairfax are deductible to the extent allowed by law.
